This page is a starting template written to reflect standard mortgage-broker practice under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and Regulation P. Privacy policies are legally binding. Sam — please have a licensed attorney or compliance vendor review and tailor this to Spring Home Company Incorporated's actual data practices, subprocessors, and state-specific requirements (NJ, PA, TX today; NY once licensed) before this goes live.
Spring Home Company Incorporated (doing business as "Spring Home") is an independent mortgage brokerage headquartered at 1815 Lakewood Rd, Ste 236, Toms River, NJ 08755. NMLS #2741914. Currently licensed in NJ, PA, and TX, with NY coming soon. In this policy, "we," "us," and "Spring Home" refer to Spring Home Company Incorporated; "you" refers to any visitor, applicant, borrower, or co-borrower who shares information with us.
The information we collect depends on how you interact with us. Broadly, it falls into three buckets:
We share non-public personal information only as needed to originate your loan or as permitted by law. That includes:
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your non-public personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
As a financial institution, we're governed by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and Regulation P. That gives you specific rights regarding your non-public personal information:
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@springhome.co or call 732-908-8040.
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep the site running, remember your preferences, and understand aggregate usage patterns. This typically includes first-party session cookies and a privacy-respecting analytics service. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some site features may not work as expected if you do. We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, but we honor the opt-out and deletion rights described in this policy.
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the confidentiality and integrity of your information, including encrypted document uploads through our client portal, access controls, and vendor due diligence. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure — please never email us your Social Security number, bank account numbers, or other sensitive data. Use the secure client portal for any document containing that information.
We retain loan application records for the periods required by federal and state law (generally 25 months to several years depending on the record type), and longer where a regulator, investor, or litigation hold requires it. Contact-form and marketing data is retained only as long as needed for its purpose or until you ask us to delete it.
The website and our services are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date, and, where required by law, we'll notify you directly.
